Daycare and Boarding Staff

Alison Eberhard

Alison joined the Halsey team in 2012.  Alison was born and raised with animals, including horses, dogs, cattle, and a very naughty llama.  As a young child she rehabilitated and trained a stray terrier that showed up on her families front stoop.  After training Gus Alison was hooked on training and behavoir of dogs.  Because of this love of all things dog, Alison is one of our training staff here at Halsey.  Alison is married, has two children and currently has a houseful of misfit dogs, a couple cats and a slight addiction to tropical fish.

Rebecca Ferwerda

Rebecca joined our boarding staff here at Halsey East in the summer of 2010.  She brought with her five years of canine boarding and kennel experience.  She moved to Oregon in July 2004 from Vancouver, BC (Canada) with her daughter and remarried.  She has a 2 year technical diploma in Fish, Wildlife, and Recreation Management from the British Columbia Institute of technology. Her spare time is spent with her family and her three canine companions:  a six year old Yellow Lab, a five year old Miniature Pincher, and a one and a half year old Black Lab.  She competes in AKC Obedience and Rally with both her labs.  Rebecca is very passionate about training and behavior and enjoys constantly learning, as there is always something new to learn from a canine. Feel free to ask about one of her training classes at the front desk.

Casey Syring
Casey joined the Halsey team in the spring of 2014.  Casey grew up with Great Danes and today has 4 dogs,  2 cats and 6 horses sharing her life with her.  Her dogs include a pit bull mix, viszla mix, pug, and Chihuahua (who owns the place).
For 20 plus years Casey has raised, trained and competed with AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) and other breeds. Casey  continues to work with Sound Equine Options Rescue Group   helping to rehabilitate and place horses into forever homes.

Kathyrne Allen
Kathryne joined the halsey team in the spring of 2014.  Kathryne comes from sunny Southern California.  She was raised by/with Doberman Pinschers.  In fact, her doggy sister comes to daycare here at Halsey on a regular basis.  We like to keep it in the family here.  Kathryne is an amazing baker and spends her spair time baking cupcakes, cakes and other goodies.  Kathryne lives with two cats and a few fish.
