Annette LaBerge
Annette met Dr. Walter Vockert (our founding father) when she was 10 years old. He was the veterinarian who came to the stable where she boarded her horse. At that time, his practice included both large and small animals, and she never imagined she would be working first for him, and then for his son almost 30 years later.
Annette is Halsey East Animal Clinic's head receptionist and has worked with us for over 14 years. Her home is shared with two feline adoptees, Ally and Amelia. Her downtime is spent out in the yard or on the fairways -whenever she can find them.
Mary Hare
Mary has been a receptionist at Halsey East since 1998 where she found her second family. She thinks it?s wonderful working here and enjoys all the pets and owners. She has been married for 45 years and has 2 children, 4 grandchildren, a cat named Buster, and a dog named Clark Kent Superdog. Her hobbies include gardening, different kinds of needle work, and playing with her Hot Rod.

Cats permitting, Mary enjoys needlepoint and counted cross stitch and loves having access to the local library.

Working at the clinic provides a great opportunity to meet a wonderful variety of pets and people. Gardening and coastal travel are favorite pastimes away from the clinic.
